A place for Vietnamese Christians to enjoy God and his supremacy
Church Planting & Church Health: A resource for nurturing God-centered Christians and churches in Vietnam.
Evangelism and discipling are important because God is important. Ultimately, God is the one who brings about a harvest.
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” (1 Corinthians 3:6–7)
Planting churches from a reformed perspective means we are asking God to start reformed churches, especially Baptist churches, in Vietnam who embrace all that God is for them in Jesus. They celebrate his sovereignty and all that Scripture unfolds about his glory and greatness. By church, we mean the body of Christ together and not a building. Buildings aren’t necessary for church.
The Vietnamese people themselves must go to other nations and must send out to other nations. It’s time for them to do their part.
“I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other, nor my praise to carved idols.” (Isaiah 42:8)
(I-sai-a 42:8)
Jesus said to Peter:
“And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18)
Revival and renewal are important because God is worth savoring. Therefore, here at GSiV we are on a quest for his sovereign joy.
“I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.” (Isaiah 43:25)
(I-sai-a 43:25)
