Reformed Churches in Vietnam: A Prayer
O Lord, please save people who will want you. May you establish a Church in Vietnam that cherishes you and your glory above their programs or buildings. May you develop leaders who desire you and your word above any fame or comfort. May you send out laborers in the harvest, laborers who know that the harvest is yours. You will give a harvest because it is your harvest, and your hand is sovereign.

Kính lạy Chúa, xin cứu những người sẽ cần đến Ngài. Xin Ngài thiết lập Hội Thánh tại Việt Nam để họ yêu mến Ngài và sự vinh hiển của Ngài hơn các chương trình hay cơ sở vật chất. Xin Chúa phát triển những người lãnh đạo để họ khao khát chính Ngài và Lời Ngài hơn danh tiếng hay tiện nghi. Xin Ngài sai phái những thợ gặt vào trong mùa gặt, những thợ gặt biết rằng mùa gặt là của Ngài. Ngài sẽ ban mùa gặt bởi vì đó chính là mùa gặt của Ngài và tay Ngài đang tể trị.

What does God-centered mean?
“The psalmist describes the motivation of God in saving sinners like this:

Inconsolable Desire
We have deep longings for so many things and relationships, but nothing seems to totally satisfy. Even when we enjoy those things and relationships the way they were intended by God. Only he can ultimately satisfy. All of our unmet desires remind us of our need for the triune God in heaven. Nothing short of his awesomeness will complete us; he will satisfy us by continually filling us up with himself.

Uy Quyền Tối Thượng Của Đức Chúa Trời Trong Công Tác Truyền Giáo Qua Sự Thờ Phượng
Công tác truyền giáo không phải là mục tiêu tối hậu của Hội Thánh, nhưng chính là sự thờ phượng. Công tác truyền giáo còn tồn tại vì con người không chịu thờ phượng Đức Chúa Trời. Sự thờ phượng là điều cơ bản, chứ không phải là công tác truyền giáo, vì Đức Chúa Trời là Đấng Tối Cao, chứ không phải con người. Khi thời đại này qua đi, và hàng tỉ người được cứu đứng trước ngôi Đức Chúa Trời, thì công tác truyền giáo không còn nữa. Truyền giáo là điều cần thiết tạm thời, nhưng sự thờ phượng còn lại mãi mãi.

God alone is worthy of worship
“The desire for the love of another person is not wrong, but it must not rule your heart. A desire for even a good thing becomes a bad thing when that desire becomes a ruling thing. Good things never result when love for and worship of the Creator are replaced by love for and worship of created things. So what does grace do? Grace works to rescue you from you by progressively breaking your bondage to the created world and turning the deepest affection of your heart toward God. God alone is worthy of worship.”
